Located in Oak Island, North Carolina, Krahn Surfboards started in 1990 under the name "Sol Grind." Two years and around fifty boards later, Wayne Krahn decided to change the name to Krahn Surfboards, building and innovating on the East Coast ever since. His brother Bill Krahn joined in around 2000 and built boards under the Krahn logo in Alaska and Puerto Rico. Both brothers shape to date with a focus on the designs and soul of hand shaped custom boards, along with unlimited material and art options for a unique one of a kind surfboard.
